Collaboration, a poem about life, highlights human togetherness and the need for empathy.
As nothing and no one exists in isolation, collaboration is the sometimes sweet and occasionally painful birthing of ideas. Minds open, solutions spring forth.
I need you, and you need me,
like the field needs the farmer, the birds, the seeds, the sun, the rain, and the air to bear fruit and blossom in splendid abundance. If one withdraws, the rest fail.
The joint longing to grow and beget, spills the fuel to persevere ’till birth.
In conflict, when warring factions fail to collaborate, some crumble and die, shouldering the wicked triumph of others.
Only in the presence of empathy, respect, and mutual validation, sweet collaboration exists. The rain never questions me, nor does the sun discriminate against you.
