Get In to Get Out

 "You need to get out of your comfort zone", 
you said,

every time I moaned about work or friends or family 
or stuff.

"You're too set in your ways, get out of your comfort zone",
you said,

every time I was a tad needy or greedy for 
love.

"You really have to leave your comfort zone",
you said.

Every time, I'd look down on my toes thinking, 
comfort zone, what comfort zone??? 

"Get out of your comfort zone!" 
you yelled.

This time, I left to find a boring comfort zone 
I would need to get out of.
