Coming Round

The straight road may be the shortest

but it’s often impassible.

Instead, a glance or step around the corner

is more effortless.

in a motion toward someone or something.

Coming round and joining up

like the circles formed

when a pebble hits the water

or the sun is eclipsed by the moon.

And the centres merge.

When you come round

your soft centre emerges

strong and resilient

always meant to rise and shine

like no other.

And when two or more people come round,

to each other,

it’s a meeting of centres and true essences,

forming new links in spellbinding grace,

rooted in the hearts.
