Wilderness No More

We retreat from the wilderness, leaving without leaving any part of us within, leaves dropping, raindrops huddling in a hollow. We make the pond our home, it’s as if we have always been one body of water within the earth without ever seeping away, we can, because there are many of us.  Now we are open fields and oceans spanning a million elegant galaxies. The light got through.
